Mohammed Asaduallah

Most recently, I was the Head of Design at goConfirm, an anti-fraud software for consumers. I led design across mobile apps, websites, and marketing channels. I worked closely with engineering, product, and support as we grew to 70,000+ users in the first year.

Before that, I co-founded Benji, a fintech startup. We raised money from angel investors and navigated multiple pivots over six years. Along the way, I learned, sometimes painfully, the realities of building a venture-backable company in a fiercely competitive space.

Prior to my entrepreneurial adventures, I worked at bootstrapped startups, venture-backed companies, and two of Canada’s top five banks. Although I'm a marketing grad, most of my work experience has been as a product designer, product manager, and project manager.

I'm an innately curious person. That curiosity has led me to explore projects in generative AI, diversity and inclusion, and ecommerce. More recently, I’ve been learning how to edit and colour-grade S-Log3 and D-Log footage in DaVinci Resolve.

Outside of work, I enjoy a quaint lifestyle on Vancouver Island with my wife and our dog, Mr. Barley Waffles. Weekdays are filled with CrossFit, yoga, and a local run club. On weekends, we hike, host friends for dinner, and take care of our plants.
